WHOM DO CONSUMERS TRUST?



The Nielsen Company has recently released the results of its Global Online Consumer Survey, conducted online with 25,000 internet consumers from 50 countries. Consumer opinions posted online are trusted most by Vietnamese Internet consumers (81%), higher than their Chinese and French counterparts (both 77%). Vietnam ranks 20th among the countries surveyed with 71% of Vietnamese Internet consumers trusting brand websites. Personal recommendations and consumer opinions posted online are the most trusted forms of advertising globally.
